The 2016 Ireland Talent Search competition consisted of 3 rounds – Video Audition Stage, Round One, and the Final Round.
Video Audition Stage
Contestants submited one of their Youtube video links in our registration form below. Alternatively, you can contact us via Facebook and share a video link to us along with registration details. Auditions videos will be uploaded to the Ireland Talent Search Facebook page and you will be notified. We encourage that you share your audition amongst your friends as social engagement will be taken into consideration during the judging process in deciding which contestants qualify for ‘Round One’ *Free entry for contestants*.
Round One
Successful contestants from the ‘Video Auditions’ will qualify for ‘Round One’ at the Wynn’s hotel, Dublin 1, on Sunday October 9th – ‘Round One’ contestants will be allocated a time block between 1pm and 6pm to attend.
A point system will be used for judging in ‘Round One’. We will have five judges on the day who will give contestants a score between 1 – 10 points. More so, contestants will have the opportunity to bring up to five supporters and each supporter will be worth 2 points to a contestant, so five supporters is 10 points – Contestants can bring as many extra supporters as they wish, but only five supporters are taken into account for the points system. Gate fee per supporter: €10.
Contestants invited to ‘Round One’ will need to confirm if they are attending, and how many supporters they are bringing as soon as possible as our venue capacity is limited. Winners of this round will progress to the Finals at the Hilton Hotel, Dublin 17, on Sunday, November 20th, where they will perform to a panel of celebrity judges.
